Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Emmaus tops Pocono Mountain East
January 29, 2024: Emmaus, PA 18049 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) and the visiting Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA), saw Emmaus's basketball squad knock off Pocono Mountain East by a tally of 72-54.
With the victory, Emmaus improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA) to play the Vikings in a Lehigh Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Allentown Central Catholic won 43-39 in their recent league challenge against Northampton (Northampton, PA)
Next up, the Cardinals play the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers (East Stroudsburg, PA) in a Eastern Pennsylvania - Mountain challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Pocono Mountain East will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 69-56 non-league loss to Williams Valley (Tower City, PA).
