The St. Francis Red Raiders basketball team scored 56 points and held the host St. Mary's Lancers to 49 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Monday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute for a Monsignor Martin contest on Wednesday, January 31. St. Francis will meet a Marauders team coming off a 69-60 league win over Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 7-7.

The Lancers (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Crusaders enter the Monsignor Martin contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Canisius nudged Nichols (Buffalo, NY), 61-59, in a league contest.
