January 29, 2024: Woodside, CA 94062 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) and the visiting San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), saw Woodside's basketball squad overcome San Mateo by a tally of 43-30.
With the victory, Woodside improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA) to play the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Summit Shasta lost 68-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Salinas (Salinas, CA)
Next up, the Bearcats play the El Camino Colts (South San Francisco, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 9. San Mateo will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 52-49 league win over Westmoor (Daly City, CA).
