California High School Basketball - Woodside nips Aragon
January 3, 2024: San Mateo, CA 94402 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) and the host Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA), saw Woodside's basketball squad hold off Aragon by a tally of 38-37.
With the victory, Woodside improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Carlmont (Belmont, CA) to play the Scots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Scots come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Carlmont won 50-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Lynbrook (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Dons play the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Aragon will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 38-34 non-league win over Gunn (Palo Alto, CA).
