Iowa High School Basketball - Marquette crushes Cedar Valley Christian
January 29, 2024: Bellevue, IA 52031 Marquette Defenders (Bellevue, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cedar Valley Christian Huskies (Cedar Rapids, IA), 82-18 in a league bout.
With the win, Marquette upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Defenders host Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a Tri-Rivers - East bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Calamus-Wheatland won 58-28 in their recent league bout against Lisbon (Lisbon, IA)
Next up, the Huskies clash with the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Cedar Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record.
