January 29, 2024: Canon City, CO 81212 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Canon City Tigers (Canon City, CO) and the visiting Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Canon City's basketball squad hold off Widefield by a tally of 41-38.
With the victory, Canon City improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Terrors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Terrors come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Palmer lost 61-50 in their recent league challenge against Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO)
Next up, the Gladiators play the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies (Colorado Springs, CO) in a challenge, on Friday, February 2. Widefield will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 51-42 league loss to Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO).
