The Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), 70-33 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Wolves now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Discovery Charter School for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Woods Charter will play a Trailblazers team coming off a 62-56 non-league win over Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC). The Trailblazers record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Ascend Leadership falls to 3-11 on the campaign.
