South Carolina High School Basketball - Richard Winn Academy fells Buford

The Richard Winn Academy Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Buford Yellow Jackets to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now have a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to King Academy for a SCISA 1A Region III game on Friday, January 31. Richard Winn Academy will confront a Knights team coming off a 55-38 league loss to Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC). The Knights record now stands at 0-12.

With the loss, Buford falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC) to confront the Christian Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Christian Warriors go into the game with a record of 11-9. Walnut Grove Christian lost 78-65 in their recent league game against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC)
