Washington High School Basketball - Fort Vancouver thwarts Castle Rock
January 29, 2025: Vancouver, WA 98661 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Fort Vancouver Trappers (Vancouver, WA) and the visiting Castle Rock Rockets (Castle Rock, WA), observed Fort Vancouver's basketball team knock off Castle Rock by a score of 64-44.
The Trappers (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbia (White Salmon, WA). The Bruins come into the 1A Trico challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Columbia was knocked off by Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA), 90-61, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Rockets encounter the Stevenson Bulldogs (Stevenson, WA) in a 1A Trico challenge, on Friday, January 31. Castle Rock will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 92-60 league loss to La Center (La Center, WA).
