January 29, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70112 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) and the host New Orleans Charter Science & Math Chambered Nautilus (New Orleans, LA), observed Destrehan's basketball team overwhelm New Orleans Charter Science & Math by a score of 78-28.
The Wildcats (23-16) will now prepare for their challenge against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats come into the 5A District 8 challenge with a 18-17 record.
In their next game, the Chambered Nautilus encounter the McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA) in a 4A District 10 challenge, on Thursday, January 30. New Orleans Charter Science & Math will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Roneagles come into the challenge with a 22-6 record after their 68-67 non-league win over Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA).
