January 29, 2025: Kent, WA 98030 Franklin Quakers (Seattle, WA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA), 73-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Franklin advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Quakers travel to Lincoln (Seattle, WA) to face the Lynx in a 3A Metro match on Saturday, February 1. The Lynx enter the match with a record of 9-9. Lincoln won 85-76 in their recent league match against Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA)
The Royals now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host White River for a 3A/4A North Puget Sound match on Friday, January 31. Kent-Meridian will face a Hornets squad coming off a 81-71 league win over Decatur (Federal Way, WA). The Hornets record now stands at 13-5.
