Virginia High School Basketball - Radford triumphant over Patrick County
January 29, 2025: Stuart, VA 24171 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) and the host Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA), observed Radford's basketball team overwhelm Patrick County by a score of 75-44.
The Bobcats (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars come into the Three Rivers challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Alleghany trounced James River (Buchanan, VA), 43-26, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Friday, January 31. Patrick County will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 63-34 non-league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
