In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Archer Tigers basketball team scored a big 58-26 triumph over the South Gwinnett Comets.

The Tigers (19-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Newton (Covington, GA). The Rams come into the AAAAAA Region 4 challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Newton trounced Heritage (Conyers, GA), 79-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets encounter the Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 31. South Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
