The Reeltown Rebels (Notasulga, AL) basketball edged the visiting Central of Coosa County Cougars (Rockford, AL), 36-35 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Holtville for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Reeltown will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-32 non-league loss to Thorsby (Thorsby, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-5.

With the loss, Central of Coosa County falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ranburne (Ranburne, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30.
