The Mt. Whitney Pioneers basketball squad (Visalia, CA), was crushed 65-17 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA)

With the victory, El Diamante advances its record to 15-9 on the year. The Miners host Porterville (Porterville, CA) to meet the Panthers in a East Yosemite battle on Friday, January 31. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 6-16. Porterville won 35-26 in their recent league battle against Golden West (Visalia, CA)

The Pioneers now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monache for a East Yosemite battle on Friday, January 31. Mt. Whitney will meet a Marauders squad coming off a 63-23 league win over Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 17-7.
