Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 42-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Plano advances its record to 21-3 on the year. The Reapers host Woodstock (Woodstock, IL) to face the Blue Streaks in a Kishwaukee River match on Saturday, February 1. The Blue Streaks enter the match with a record of 12-12. Woodstock won 61-53 in their recent league match against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL)

The Indians now own a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandwich for a Kishwaukee River match on Thursday, January 30. Marengo will face a Indians squad coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Indians record now stands at 9-12.
