In Wednesday's non-league test, the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) ice hockey squad tipped the host Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT), by a final score of 2-1.

Next, the Rams face the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) in a FCIAC test, on Saturday, February 1. New Canaan will attempt to upgrade on its 13-0 season record.

The Trojans (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Xavier was edged by Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT), 7-1, in a league test.
