Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - New Canaan nips Notre Dame

February 5, 2025: West Haven, CT 06516

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) and the host Notre Dame Green Knights (West Haven, CT), witnessed New Canaan's ice hockey team hold off Notre Dame by a score of 3-2.

The Rams (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers come into the FCIAC challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Ridgefield got by Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Green Knights battle the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Notre Dame will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
