January 29, 2025: Williamston, SC 29697 Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC), 42-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Belton-Honea Path upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Bears travel to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Knights enter the match with a record of 11-1. St. Joseph's Catholic won 33-31 in their recent non-league match against Palmetto (Williamston, SC)
The Mustangs now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph's Catholic for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Palmetto will face a Knights squad coming off a 50-38 non-league win over Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 10-1.
