Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), 50-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Yuma advances its record to 1-14 on the year. The Criminals host Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to meet the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon match on Friday, January 30. The Demons enter the match with a record of 15-8. Dysart won 74-12 in their recent league contest against Tempe (Tempe, AZ)

In their next game, the Dons confront the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon contest, on Friday, January 30. Coronado will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Buffaloes go into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 56-34 league loss to Cortez (Phoenix, AZ).
