Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Unionville fells Avon Grove
January 3, 2023: Kennett Square, PA 19348 Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA), 76-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Unionville upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Oxford (Oxford, PA) to clash with the Hornets in a Ches-Mont - American bout on Thursday, January 5. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Oxford lost 59-55 in their recent non-league bout against Newark Charter School (Newark, DE)
Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) in a Ches-Mont - National bout, on Thursday, January 5. Avon Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 71-58 non-league loss to Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA).
