January 3, 2023: Turner, ME 04282 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) basketball squad nipped the visiting Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME), by a margin of 56-54.
The Hornets (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Mariners go into the B South outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Oceanside got by Camden Hills (Rockport, ME), 70-49, in a non-league outing.
The Dragons now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Morse for a A South outing on Thursday, January 5. Brunswick will encounter a Shipbuilders squad coming off a 50-38 non-league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Shipbuilders record now stands at 1-6.
