Founders Christian Falcons (Spring, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Calvary Baptist Eagles (Conroe, TX), 64-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Founders Christian upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Falcons host Covenant Academy (Cypress, TX) to play the Patriots in a TAPPS 1A District 9 bout on Friday, January 6. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Covenant Academy won 66-20 in their recent league bout against The Covenant Preparatory School (Kingwood, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Briarwood Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 9 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Calvary Baptist will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 62-19 non-league loss to School of the Woods (Houston, TX).
