The Central Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Ross Little Giants to 59 in the Fighting Irish league triumph on Tuesday.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lima Senior for a Freelance contest on Friday, January 6. Central Catholic will meet a Spartans team coming off a 44-32 league loss to St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 4-2.

The Little Giants (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Findlay (Findlay, OH). The Trojans enter the Freelance contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Findlay ran past Clay (Oregon, OH), 52-35, in a non-league contest.
