The Chincoteague Ponies basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Salisbury Christian to 43 in the Ponies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Ponies now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holly Grove Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Chincoteague will meet a team coming off a 56-14 non-league loss to Nandua (Onley, VA). The record now stands at 0-4.
