California High School Basketball - Valley Christian Academy overwhelms Coastal Christian
January 3, 2023: Santa Maria, CA 93455 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) and the visiting Coastal Christian Conquerors (Pismo Beach, CA), saw Valley Christian Academy's basketball squad wallop Coastal Christian by a count of 70-25.
With the victory, Valley Christian Academy upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a Coast Valley challenge on Friday, January 6. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. San Luis Obispo Classical Academy won 66-43 in their recent league challenge against Cuyama Valley (New Cuyama, CA)
Next up, the Conquerors play the Kings Christian Crusaders (Lemoore, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Coastal Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 52-32 non-league win over Laton (Laton, CA).
