January 3, 2023: Spokane, WA 99206 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Columbia Lions (Hunters, WA) and the host Valley Christian Panthers (Spokane, WA), saw Columbia's basketball squad overcome Valley Christian by a tally of 62-45.
With the victory, Columbia improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Inchelium (Inchelium, WA) to confront the Hornets in a 1B Northeast challenge on Friday, January 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Inchelium lost 60-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Roosevelt (Coulee Dam, WA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Mary Walker Chargers (Springdale, WA) in a 1B Northeast challenge, on Friday, January 6. Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 77-56 league loss to Wellpinit (Wellpinit, WA).
