The Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes to 66 in the Blue Griffins non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Griffins now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Coyotes (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Timberwolves come into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, East Mountain was nudged by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM), 63-28, in a non-league contest.
