With the victory, David Crockett improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers host King's Academy (Seymour, TN) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. King's Academy won 55-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Sullivan East will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
