Connecticut High School Basketball - Windham tops East Lyme
January 3, 2023: Willimantic, CT 06226 Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT), 58-48 in a league bout.
With the victory, Windham upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Whippets host Waterford (Waterford, CT) to play the Lancers in a Eastern Connecticut II bout on Friday, January 6. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Waterford lost 60-43 in their recent non-league bout against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT)
Next up, the Vikings play the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut I bout, on Friday, January 6. East Lyme will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 74-53 league win over Ledyard (Ledyard, CT).
