Oregon High School Basketball - La Grande fells McLoughlin
January 3, 2023: La Grande, OR 97850 La Grande Tigers (La Grande, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR), 64-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, La Grande upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Tigers host Crook County (Prineville, OR) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Crook County won 70-55 in their recent non-league bout against Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR)
Next up, the Pioneers clash with the Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) in a 3A Eastern Oregon bout, on Friday, January 6. McLoughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 65-58 non-league win over Weiser (Weiser, ID).
