Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier Christian Academy trounces Peachtree Academy
January 3, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) basketball crushed the host Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA), 69-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lightning (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Young Americans Christian (Conyers, GA). The Eagles go into the GAPPS - I-AAA Region 2 test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Young Americans Christian was trounced by Hills Academy (Conyers, GA), 79-48, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host HALO for a non-league test on Friday, January 6.
