California High School Basketball - University can't hold off Northwood
January 3, 2023: Irvine, CA 92612 The Northwood Timberwolves basketball team scored 75 points and held the host University Trojans to 68 in the Timberwolves league triumph on Tuesday.
The Timberwolves now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodbridge for a Pacific Coast contest on Friday, January 6. Northwood will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-30 league win over Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-11.
The Trojans (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Irvine (Irvine, CA). The Vaqueros enter the Pacific Coast contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Irvine was nudged by Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA), 51-44, in a league contest.
