Iowa High School Basketball - Regina topped by Notre Dame
January 3, 2023: Burlington, IA 52601 The Notre Dame Nikes basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Regina Regals to 51 in the Nikes non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Nikes now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New London for a SEI - South contest on Friday, January 6. Notre Dame will battle a Tigers team coming off a 61-40 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
The Regals (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lisbon (Lisbon, IA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Lisbon prevailed over Midland (Wyoming, IA), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
