Iowa High School Basketball - West Branch nips Notre Dame
December 19, 2022: Burlington, IA 52601 West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA), 64-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Branch upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bears host Tipton (Tipton, IA) to play the Tigers in a River Valley bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Tipton lost 68-43 in their recent league bout against Regina (Iowa City, IA)
Next up, the Nikes play the Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Regals go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 45-44 league win over West Liberty (West Liberty, IA).
