Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield South tipped by Plainfield North
January 3, 2023: Plainfield, IL 60585 The Plainfield North Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Plainfield South Cougars to 47 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield East for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Friday, January 6. Plainfield North will meet a Bengals team coming off a 69-51 league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 8-7.
The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks enter the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, West Aurora was nudged by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 76-67, in a league contest.
