Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield North nips Nazareth Academy
February 11, 2023: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), 60-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plainfield North upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Oswego East (Oswego, IL) to play the Wolves in a SouthWest Prairie bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 24-5. Oswego East won 72-56 in their recent league bout against Oswego (Oswego, IL)
Next up, the Roadrunners play the Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Nazareth Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-17 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 13-15 record after their 40-30 league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL).
