New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Joseph thwarts South Plainfield
January 3, 2023: Metuchen, NJ 08840 The St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 71-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (4-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ). The Gray Bees go into the Freelance test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, St. Benedict's Prep notched a victory over Hill School (Pottstown, PA), 61-48, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. South Plainfield will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 65-37 non-league win over Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
