In Tuesday's league match, the host Southeastern Local Trojans basketball team scored a decisive 50-24 triumph over the West Jefferson Roughriders.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH) in a Ohio Heritage match, on Friday, January 6. Southeastern Local will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record.

With the defeat, West Jefferson moves to 5-5 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Tree of Life Christian (Columbus, OH) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, January 7. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 5-3. Tree of Life Christian lost 57-43 in their recent non-league match against Utica (Utica, OH)
