In Tuesday's league outing, the Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) basketball squad beat the host Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX), by a count of 63-44.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Haskell (Haskell, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region II District 10 outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Haskell was topped by Stamford (Stamford, TX), 53-51, in a league outing.

The Bearcats now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cisco for a 2A Region II District 10 outing on Friday, January 6. Hawley will clash with a Loboes squad coming off a 44-37 non-league win over Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Loboes record now stands at 9-3.
