Ohio High School Basketball - Wauseon overwhelms Defiance
January 3, 2023: Wauseon, OH 43567 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH) and the visiting Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH), saw Wauseon's basketball squad wallop Defiance by a tally of 53-18.
With the victory, Wauseon improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH) to play the Tigers in a Northwest Ohio challenge on Friday, January 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Liberty Center won 67-21 in their recent non-league challenge against North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH) in a Western Buckeye challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Defiance will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 49-34 non-league loss to Findlay (Findlay, OH).
