The East Union Urchins basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Hickory Flat Rebels to 53 in the Urchins non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Urchins now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Pontotoc for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. East Union will battle a Vikings team coming off a 77-43 non-league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Vikings record now stands at 7-3.

The Rebels (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Site (New Site, MS). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 15-4 record.
