Texas High School Basketball - Northland Christian tops First Baptist Christian
January 3, 2023: Houston, TX 77014 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northland Christian Cougars (Houston, TX) and the visiting First Baptist Christian Warriors (Pasadena, TX), saw Northland Christian's basketball squad knock off First Baptist Christian by a tally of 37-26.
With the victory, Northland Christian improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Westbury Christian (Houston, TX) to play the Wildcats in a TAPPS 3A District 5 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Westbury Christian won 29-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Salt and Light Homeschool (Conroe, TX)
Next up, the Warriors play the Faith Christian Saints (Pasadena, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. First Baptist Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 29-23 non-league loss to Bay Area Christian (League City, TX).
