Connecticut High School Basketball - Valley Regional tops Granby Memorial

Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Granby Memorial Bears (Granby, CT), 42-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valley Regional upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Morgan (Clinton, CT) to play the Huskies in a Shoreline bout on Friday, January 6. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Bears play the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Friday, January 6. Granby Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 58-46 league win over Rockville (Vernon, CT).
