January 3, 2023: Amherst, NH 03031 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hanover Bears (Hanover, NH) and the host Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), saw Hanover's basketball squad overcome Souhegan by a tally of 42-25.
With the victory, Hanover improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH) to play the Bears in a Division II challenge on Friday, January 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Sabers play the Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Friday, January 6. Souhegan will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Sachems come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 57-44 league loss to Kennett (Conway, NH).
