New York High School Basketball - Niagara-Wheatfield overwhelms Kenmore East
January 3, 2023: Sanborn, NY 14132 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY) and the visiting Kenmore East Bulldogs (Tonawanda, NY), saw Niagara-Wheatfield's basketball squad wallop Kenmore East by a tally of 61-5.
With the victory, Niagara-Wheatfield improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Grand Island (Grand Island, NY) to play the Vikings in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Grand Island lost 45-31 in their recent league challenge against Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Kenmore East will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 60-29 league win over Charter School for Applied Tech (Buffalo, NY).
