Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sandusky Redskins (Sandusky, MI) and the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), saw Sandusky's basketball squad wallop Vassar by a count of 55-27.

With the victory, Sandusky upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Unionville-Sebewaing won 65-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Garber (Essexville, MI)

Next up, the Vulcans play the Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Vassar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 52-23 non-league loss to Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI).
