Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Cass City Red Hawks (Cass City, MI) and the host Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), saw Cass City's basketball squad wallop Vassar by a tally of 46-20.

With the victory, Cass City improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Red Hawks host Caro (Caro, MI) to confront the Tigers in a Greater Thumb - West challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Caro won 62-34 in their recent league challenge against Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI)

Next up, the Vulcans confront the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots (Sebewaing, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Vassar will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
