New Mexico High School Basketball - Capital tops Los Alamos
January 3, 2023: Los Alamos, NM 87544 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) and the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), saw Capital's basketball squad knock off Los Alamos by a count of 65-57.
With the victory, Capital upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Albuquerque Academy lost 60-42 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Los Alamos will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
