January 10, 2023: Los Alamos, NM 87544 The Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 58-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Aztec was tipped by Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 59-39, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Sandia Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Albuquerque Academy will encounter a Sundevils squad coming off a 65-25 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 1-8.
